I only have come across two wikias that use the achievement / badge system - this one and the Invader Zim wiki (Marvel Database does too, but I haven't even tried working over there lately). IZ has had more people work on badges and complete them than we have here at CW, and the achievements are essentially similar, simply with different names.
And herein lies the problem...
Invader Zim Wiki has an achievement for contributing for 100 days in a row!! Holy heavens, really?? That just sets my head a-spinnin'. What am I to do? Somehow, I don't think I'll obtain all of the badges on here....haha...for that matter, are their ones you can never actually completely finish, and simply automatically increase the number for the "next tier" so that one can continue to obtain badges? That would explain why they eventually possess the same name instead of "upgrading" to a new name for the next badge tier....
I also really need to figure out how to add the badge system to a wikia, so that I can begin working on my own that I have planned. -- Somarinoa 04:58, June 6, 2011 (UTC)
