Idling is the state of staying still during the gameplay.

In Conker's Pocket Tales[]

In Conker's Pocket Tales, there's only one idle animation that Conker plays Game Boy.

In Conker's Bad Fur Day[]

  • Conker plays with a red yo-yo.
  • Conker juggles balls.
  • Conker reads a magazine titled Beaver and makes remarks such as "She's gross!" while reading it.
  • Conker yawns and pulls out a flamethrower and says "I hate butterflies."
  • Conker drinks a can of soda and kicks it after he finishes drinking; there's a chance where Conker kicks the can at the screen if the camera stands forward.
  • Conker pulls out a glass of milk and drinks it through a straw. Afterwards, he throws it when the glass is empty.
  • Conker pulls out his pocket watch and checks the time.
  • Conker crosses his arms and taps his foot and asks if anyone is playing the game.
  • Conker looks at the player and tells him/her to stop doing something or they'll go blind.
  • Conker sits on the ground and sings a song about himself being bored.
  • Conker pulls out a Game Boy and plays Killer Instinct. 8-bit renditions of the title theme and the stage themes of Jago and Sabrewulf from Killer Instinct Gold can be heard.
  • In Rock Solid (Uga Buga chapter), Conker does a groovy dance with the music and will be extended.

In Conker: Live & Reloaded[]

All of Conker's idle animations are taken verbatim from Bad Fur Day with several differences such as the magazine which he reads features Berri on the cover instead of a beaver and him playing Killer Instinct on a different handheld console which resembles a Game Boy Advance SP. New music from the first Killer Instinct game was added including the title theme as well as the stage themes of Cinder, Riptor, Spinal, Sabrewulf, and TJ Combo along with the Chicago Alley stage music.
